Meet Billy Jones

Billy Jones is our Senior Mortgage Loan Officer with more than 25 years of experience helping clients navigate both residential and commercial financing. Originally from the gorgeously green but rainy Pacific Northwest, he relocated to sunny Orange County in 2010 and has proudly called San Diego home since 2012. His Pacific Northwest roots shaped his grounded, hardworking approach, while his Southern California lifestyle reflects his focus on balance, health, and long-term prosperity- values he brings to every client relationship. 

Since 1999, Billy has seen every type of market cycle imaginable and thrived. When many left the business, he pivoted and kept it moving. He’s worked with some of the largest banks and direct lenders in the industry (some still around, some not), giving him a deep understanding of underwriting, loan structuring, and how to navigate complex scenarios. He also learned what not to do, which is equally important. That experience translates into real advantages for his clients: lower costs, smoother closings, fewer surprises, and solutions when other lenders say “no.” He specializes in saving loans that have been declined elsewhere and is known for closing transactions in days—not weeks—when timing matters most.

Billy understands the importance of offering his respected clientele access to virtually every mortgage product available, paired with highly competitive rates, flexible terms, and clear communication from start to finish. Backed by a collaborative, knowledgeable team, he ensures every loan strategy is tailored specifically to the borrower’s goals—whether purchasing, refinancing, investing, or expanding a business.

Working largely remotely is another plus: Billy remains highly accessible and responsive 7 days a week outside of normal business hours. He always answers his phone. His clients never feel like just another file—they feel supported, informed, and confident in their decisions.

Outside of lending, Billy embraces the Southern California lifestyle: staying active in the sun, doing cardio at the Beaches, restoring and driving his two classic Volvos along Ocean Beach Sunset Cliffs, attending local cars & coffee groups (which euro car geeks alike can appreciate), working in his yard with his soulmate, and spending time with their German Shepherd, Atlas, friends and family. A big believer in karma and authentic relationships, he approaches both life and business with integrity and care.
