A Private Mortgage Loan is a short term loan that is designed to help a borrower during a transitional period. Combining the value of your current home with the home you would like to purchase, the borrower will “bridge” those two items together in hopes of getting the maximum amount of 80% LTV. However, some lenders may have different standards so that could vary. Bridge loan lenders can fund a residential bridge loan as quickly as 2 weeks for a purchase.

Bridge loans are available for numerous types of property such as:
